Tracey has been in the Neuro-Intesive Care Unit at Penn Presbyterian since January 6th. She suffered a Grand Mal Seizure and collapsed while attending a party. Her heart stopped and she was brought back to life by the blessed hands of her closest girlfriends. She was in a medically induced coma for two weeks as she fought relentlessly to reduce the swelling of her brain with the help of the amazing staff at Penn Presbyterian. Recently, she made a significant movement for the first time since being admitted in the hospital. With this small sign that mom has given us, we are going to move her to a specalized nursing home (Foxsubacute). This nursing home will hopefully further her progress. She still has a long journey to recovery and we are asking for your help with a contribution of any size to minimize her extensive medical expenses that await us all. Tracey has always been there for everyone. If she gets invited to a party, she is always the first person there. If you asked for it or not, she is always the first person to lend a helping hand. She has the biggest heart and is the rock of our family. We are trying to raise money to help contribute to her long road to recovery and expenses that come along with that.
We are hosting a Benefit Fundraiser on February 10, 2018 from 6pm-10pm. This will be a party that our mother would be in attendance and busting a move on the dance floor, if she could. So, in her honor, we will be dancing the night away while she recovers. Purchasing of a ticket will include entrance, food, beer, wine, and soda. The bar will be open and liquor will be available for purchasing. We will be having a raffle with a variety of different donation baskets and a 50-50 raffle.
*Tickets may be purchased either through this website or at the door the night of the event. Children’s Ticket (5 and older): $15
Some of the donation baskets will include:
Eagles Merchandise Basket
Weis Markets Basket
Orange Theory Fitness Basket
Stylish Pooch Mobile Grooming Package
"Date Night" Basket
Pepperidge Farm Basket
Lilly Pullitzer Basket
Massage Envy Basket
Personal Eyes Basket
“Gift Card” Basket
**If you have so generously offered to donate a gift basket, we are asking that you drop them off with either Brittany or Kristy by Monday, February 5th. Thank you in advance for all of your support of our family during this trying time in our lives. We know our mother is strong and we need to be strong for her while she continues to get stronger and heals.
